Questions to Reflect Upon for Those Justifying Aggression, Violence and War

  • Where will the continuous fuelling of the divisive view of ‘us’ and ‘them’ lead to?
  • Do you believe that hatred and violence on the side of those you are fighting will disappear by inflicting hatred and violence on them?
  • What else could be the outcome of this?
  • By saying ‘We need this war in order to establish peace’: How long do you think this ‘peace’ created through war will last?
  • Where has the justification of anger brought us to,so far,as a species?
  • Where has the unquestioned acting on greed brought us to,so far,as a species?
  • When will the point be reached at which we are ‘safe enough’ to not need wars anymore?
  • Have you considered sufficiently the alternatives to war?

Those of us who oppose war might not have all the answers. But if we stop to ask questions, then where are we heading towards…?

Your voice matters.

May all of us who yearn for peace find their voice and may we be able to express our views without anger.

May peace prevail on earth.
